Prunus Avium by Marisa Silva-Dunbar
From the Garden of Earthly Delights by Hieronymus Bosch

I have been crowned
with sweet rubies—
revel for me,
my lustful myrmidons.
Writhe wantonly—
wrap jasmine vines
around your thighs.
Offer me a blood rich cioppino,
Baccalà alla Livornese.
Feed me raspberries
the color of sapphires—
suckle from their stems.
Consume pomegranate seeds
like Persephone—starving.
I feast on your intoxication,
brimming with desire—
skin supple and bare.
Present me with bouquets
pouring out of every orifice—
they all belong to me anyway.
Do not hide in the orchards,
and vineyards—every touch,
kiss, bite, fuck is for my entertainment
Smear the pulp, and be reborn.
I am the manifestation of Venus—
adorn yourself with my pearls.
I am your nectar—you, my ambrosia.
Devour me.
