Poet as President by Robin Wright

I vote for Amanda Gorman.
She will weigh all ways
to make this nation a station
for trains to whistle in and carry
all types of loads, where we hear
voices singing: We go, all of us. Today!
Robin Wright lives in Southern Indiana. Her work has appeared in Ariel Chart, Spank the Carp, Muddy River Poetry Review, Rat’s Ass Review, The Drabble, Panoply, and others.
