You could have a big dipper

Never Again by Isabella Melians

I shouldn't have asked you

why?

did I believe in serendipity?

limerence, intoxicating

hallway lay so vastly around us

(encouraging questions not dare said

within a crowd)

why?

you were so confused-

arms crossed protectively

brows furrowed deeply

pulsating silence

lips of a sole note

No

why?

never had eye contact seemed more potent:

you turned so quickly

towards the metal doors

I shouldn’t have asked
