Midnight Litany by Thu
CW: allusions to self-harm

Let me normalize, the wrinkle that falls
on my mouth that dries, every once in a while -
prolonged bath times, where I soak up the cold;
let me normalize rejecting your mould.
Can I wander at night? without your eyes
trailing behind the sinkholes I create,
your touch that in the end
burns on the scars,
screaming
to be given space,
to commiserate
about anything.
