You could have a big dipper

Master by Jason Visconti

The lightning show goes yellow by my red blood,

O to hear the angels sing to me,

I command these spikes of light to do as they always did,

this time my hand to the fuse of electricity,

may the shocks travel my body while I rule the world.

Jason Visconti has attended both group and private poetry workshops. His work has appeared in various journals, including "Allegro Magazine", "Indigo Rising" and "The American Journal of Poetry". He especially enjoys the poetry of Pablo Neruda and Billy Collins.
