In case you thought this was my only body by Megan Cannella

I read somewhere
or heard somewhere
that every 7 years
all the cells of the body
are replaced.
Which would mean
the body you knew
is somewhere
on some other timeline,
in some other dream,
the construct
of some other level
of cognition
that doesn’t exist
anymore,
with no proof
it ever really did.
When I looked that up
just to be sure
my current body
doesn’t know you anymore,
the results were inconclusive
kinda like us.
