Humans by Pramod Subbaraman

I look out
And see
My neighbour
Doing
His ironing
He has
A routine
Ironing time
This time
Everyday
Without fail
He never
Disappoints
If I miss
This chance
I may spend
Another day
Without
Seeing
Another human
Just a brick
Wall
Facing
Another
What if
There were
No windows?
